    ST. PETERSBURG — Police are investigating a shooting that took place near 15th Avenue S and 45th Street S on Monday afternoon. A caller reported gunshots in the area at 12:21 p.m., according to St. Petersburg police. When officers arrived, they said they found a middle-aged man with a gunshot wound to the upper body.
