ST. PETERSBURG — A police officer was taken to a hospital with minor injuries Saturday night after her patrol car hit an SUV while she was responding to a call. The Florida Highway Patrol said the officer was driving in emergency mode at about 10:45 p.m. to meet another officer who needed assistance on northbound Interstate 275 just north of 38th Ave. N.
