Desperate search for gunman after 2 Oklahoma officers shot, 2 others dead
A manhunt was under way in Oklahoma Monday for a suspect accused of shooting and wounding two police officers with an AK-47 and stealing their patrol car, as investigators found two of his relatives dead in a home where he'd apparently been hiding. The suspect, Michael Vance, allegedly shot one Wellston police officer in the foot and another in the legs. Doctors released both officers from the hospital, KOCO-TV reported. The bus driver was among those killed and the truck driver was injured, California Highway Patrol division Chief Jim Abele said at a press conference. Injuries range from minor to moderate, he said.
