Adobe updates its Creative Cloud apps
Adobe is hosting its annual MAX conference for its creative community in San Diego this week. Unsurprisingly, the company is using this event, which will feature keynotes by the likes of Quentin Tarantino, to announce a lot of news around its Creative Cloud applications like Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere, as well as its new tools for interactive designers like Adobe Experience Design. With this update, Adobe isn’t leaving any of the core Creative Cloud applications untouched — and it’s a..>> view originalMacBook Pro review: the Air apparent
VIDEO At first blush, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro, sans fancy Touch Bar, looks like the perfect replacement for my aged MacBook Air from 2013. It’s the thinnest and lightest Pro ever, and it provides the display and performance upgrades my three-year-old laptop has been in desperate need of. Costing $1,499, it sits right in the middle between Apple’s $1,299 MacBook and the new $1,799 MacBook Pro with a Touch Bar and four Thunderbolt ports. It’s like the Air, in that it bridges the gap between A..>> view originalBoston Uber Drivers Are Twice as Likely to Cancel a Customer's Ride If They Have a Black-Sounding Name

Microsoft, during its Oct 26th event, made known its venture into a space traditionally acknowledged as Apple's forte: creative professionals. If you ask any creative professional, such as an artist or musician Apple's iMac is the preferred tool for most, hands down. For artists of varying disciplines, Apple's high-end and expensive hardware have been the industry standard for anyone serious about their craft. That is not to say the non-artistic consumer will not find value with a Mac. Apple's ..>> view originalMicrosoft has stopped selling Windows 7 Professional, Windows 8.1

I met with Atlas Informatics CEO Jordan Ritter and VP of marketing Travis Murdock at their office in Seattle ahead of the launch. Ritter, formerly of Napster, amon..>> view original
