PETERSBURG — A motorcyclist died Saturday after he was thrown from his vehicle without a helmet.Christopher Shaw, 34, was driving his Harley Davidson southbound in the 1500 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street South about 1 a.m. when he veered to the left and struck a raised concrete median and roadway sign, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.
